Construction on Highway 121 has begun in ernest. Things should be getting snarled traffic wise over the next few months. Here are some suggestions for getting around:

Take Coit road down to the newly completed McDermott exit.
Avoid the Preston road intersection, it'll be the worst.

I'm planning on avoiding 121 alltogether. I'll take Eldorado over to the tollway and get out of town that way.
